22 kg of cigarettes were in this suitcase, reports Mediapart. He himself paid the fine in acknowledging his responsibility and error.

Annick Petrus, Senator Les Républicains (LR) of Saint-Martin, travelled with 22 kg of undeclared tobacco from the West Indies, claiming to have transported a package of which she did not know the content and paid a fine of 4,900 euros.
