Sen. Durbin secures funding to extend Constitution Trail in Normal

U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin has secured $1.9 million in funding for an extension of the Constitution Trail in Normal, which will connect the trail to major employers and promote multimodal travel by separating pedestrians and cyclists from vehicles.

Federal grant will allow extension of Constitution Trail in west Normal

A $1.9 million federal grant announced by U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin will fund engineering and construction of the new stretch of trail that will extend the current endpoint at Gregory Street and Parkside to the west and south.
