On the right of the Lord, about 2.3 kilometres south of the Válcínez salt, archaeologists have discovered the traces of a settlement from the XV–XVI centuries, possibly even the oldest of today's localities. The discovery was made in the context of preventive research carried out on the path of the Hungarian-Cisinau gas pipeline.
