Tatabánya reached the final of the men's handball European Cup by defeating Bosnian team RK Izvidac 37-34 in front of their home crowd on Friday.
The handball players of Izviđač from Ljubuški failed to qualify for the final of the EHF European Cup, after being defeated by the Hungarian Tatabanya 37-34 (20-19) in the second leg of the semi-final. Izviđač entered the second leg with a two-goal advantage from the first leg in Ljubuški (33-31), but Tatabanya qualified for the final with a 68-67 aggregate score.
