ALTAI MOUNTAINS, SIBERIA, RUSSIA, JUL 31 – High-resolution imaging revealed detailed tattoo techniques on a 2,000-year-old Pazyryk mummy, showing Iron Age tattooing as a skilled craft, researchers said.

New imaging technology has allowed scientists to decipher the tattoos of an Iron Age mummy—and study them like never before.
