School pay hikes OK’d
After spending about a half-hour discussing a compensation plan, raises for all employees were approved by the Schulenburg ISD Board of Trustees at last week’s meeting. The state, through House Bill 2, covered pay increases for most teachers – $4,000 annually (nine percent) for those with three to four years of experience and $8,000 (12 to 18 percent) for those with five or more years of experience.
