Keep two school issues separate in 2026

The Mississippi superintendent of education made a good point when he told a state Senate committee that it should address school choice legislation and teacher pay raises in separate proposals.

School Choice – My Take

Currently in Mississippi, patrons have choices in education: public school, private school, or homeschool.  It’s not a battle between Conservative and Liberal.  As a Coonservative Mississippian, and alongside many other parents and educators who also hold conservative values, I see it this way.
