In Paraguay, there is a high school attendance rate, according to data from the National Statistical Institute (INE), of which 2,570.070 are men and 2,576,793 are women. Official data show that 93.1 per cent in the 5-9 age group and 98.3 per cent in the 10-14 age group attend a formal education institution, while the current attendance rate among the 15-19 age group is 76.3 per cent, compared with 31.9 per cent in the 20-24 age group.
