The Central Government has requested two years to implement the Supreme Court's March 11 order regarding the OBC creamy layer. The Center stated that it is not possible to implement it within six months. According to the government, implementing the order retrospectively will affect the service of candidates employed since 2012 and the seniority and promotions of current IAS and IPS officers.
