A lawyer for the technology company Vélfags says that Landsbankinn has frozen the law firm's account that was supposed to be used to pay employees and settle with suppliers and mortgagees. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is reviewing the matter but has not granted any exemptions to facilitate the payment of the salaries.
