Sawsan Mhamdi from Reuver wanted a life of her own. She wanted to work, make her own decisions, and escape a marriage in which her husband controlled everything. Shortly after the 35-year-old woman received her Dutch passport, she was killed. Her body was set on fire and left near a bridge pier along a highway in Münster, Germany.
