Oil flows through the Saudi East-West pipeline have not been interrupted, Reuters reported, citing a source. Earlier, AFP reported that transport via this route was halted following Sunday's attack on a pumping station.
Global energy markets were left in turmoil by conflicting reports about the status of Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline. While initial reports suggested a new attack and disruption at a pumping station in Khurais, Bloomberg has confirmed that crude oil is flowing normally. The strategic pipeline allows oil to be transported bypassing the Strait of Hormuz and has been attacked in the past.
