Several political, trade union and associative organizations in Lyon are calling for a rally on Thursday 16 July in Lyon to protest the bill creating a presumption of self-defence for the security forces, adopted at first reading in the National Assembly.
Last Tuesday, 313 MPs voted in favour of the bill establishing the presumption of self-defence for a police officer or a gendarmerie who would use his firearm. A text supported by the government, voted with the votes of the right and the far right. The sitting was heated. The text must now pass on to the office of the Senate.
