After rainouts Wednesday and Thursday, Santa Anita plans to resume thoroughbred racing Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and has added a program Thursday, Jan. 8. The road to the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks kicks off Saturday at Santa Anita Park with the $100,000 Santa Ynez Stakes, which features the return of Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies runner-up Explora.
