Samsung launches Galaxy A57 and A37 in Europe
- Samsung announced the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 smartphones in Europe on Wednesday, refreshing its midrange lineup with the new Awesome Intelligence suite set to go on sale April 10th.
- Both models include $50 price bumps over last year's Galaxy A36 and A56; Jitesh Ubrani, research manager at IDC, attributed the increases to memory suppliers facing "tight availability and significantly higher costs than in past years."
- Upgraded Exynos processors power both phones, with the A37 delivering 167 percent better neural processing than last year's model. Samsung increased durability to IP68 dust and water resistance, a step up from the previous IP67 rating.
- The A37 starts at $449, while the A57 begins at $550, with the Galaxy A5X-series typically arriving in other markets roughly 2 to 4 weeks after the European launch.
- Both devices ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, supported by six years of software and security updates, while users gain access to the Awesome Intelligence suite featuring Circle to Search with Google.
