For the First Time: Wolves in Denmark Are Believed to Have Killed Two Dogs

Bite marks indicate that dead dogs near Ikast and Ulfborg were killed by wolves. Owners will receive compensation.

Two dogs have been found dead with bite marks and wolf tracks. However, authorities insist that the wolf is not a so-called "problem wolf".

The two dogs were found a month apart in different places in Jutland.

For the first time since 2012, when wolves re-inhabited Denmark, wolves have - presumably - killed two dogs.
