Salto Prepares a Shelter for Possible Evacuation Due to the Rising Waters of the Uruguay River.

Through the Departmental Emergency Coordination Center (CECOED), the Municipality of Salto (Eastern Republic of Uruguay) warned that it is already preparing a location at the intersection of Luis Batlle Berres Avenue and Diagonal Arralde, in the East of the city, to receive the first families that could be evacuated in the next few hours, due to the expected rise in the level of the Uruguay River and the Ceibal and Sauzal streams.
