Despite the evolution of society and the liberation of speech, it is always more expensive to denounce violence than to commit it. For journalist Lorraine de Foucher, the ability to denounce violence still depends on a social position and society does not protect women sufficiently.
This 63-year-old woman was finally released, the court having retained her "good faith." However, the judges considered that "the arrest of the police officers was totally in order" and that her intervention "was illegitimate".
