The Security Service of Ukraine has completed an investigation into the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Mikhail Degtyarev and submitted the indictment to the court. According to the investigation, the Russian official financed a unit of the occupation forces that participated in the battles against the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Bakhmut area.
At the beginning of the full-scale war, Degtyarev served as Governor of Habarovsky province and sponsored the establishment of a local battalion to fight in Donetsk province.
