KHARKIV, Ukraine — Russian bombs struck a residential area of Ukraine's northeastern city of Kharkiv on Monday, killing five people, injuring more than 50 and shattering apartment buildings, officials said.

At least five people died on Monday in guided Russian bombings against Járkov, the second city in Ukraine, in the northeastern part of the country, the regional governor reported.
Russian armed forces hit Harkov with three guided bombs on Monday, killing at least six people and wounding 59, including three children, reports Kyiv Post.
At least three Russian gliding bombs were shot in the Slobidsky district, according to Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov. According to the head of the military administration of the oblast, Oleh Synehubov, 59 people were also injured.
