Russian attack hit port infrastructure in Ukraine's Odesa region, officials say
Port facilities and two residential towers were damaged, and officials said the attack wounded at least two people.
On Friday, a Russian drone attack damaged port infrastructure in Ukraine's southern Odesa region and wounded two people in the city, regional Governor Oleh Kiper said.
The Russian army attacked three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region in central Ukraine "almost 20 times" with drones and artillery, reported Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Regional Military Administration.
In Odesa, drone strikes destroyed apartments and ignited fires in two high-rise buildings, including one where flames engulfed the 12th floor, while Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych reported separate strikes in Mykolaiv.
Russian attacks on four settlements in the Kherson community killed one person and injured eight, damaging homes, administrative buildings, warehouses, and buses, Ukrainian Defence Ministry head Yaroslav Shanko reported.
Ukraine launched its fourth drone attack in the past week on Russia's Black Sea port of Tuapse on Thursday, continuing efforts to target energy infrastructure and disrupt oil revenues.
