Kaja Kallas, the European Union's high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, warned ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels that Russian President Vladimir Putin's "ultimate goal" is not to seize the eastern Ukrainian region of Donbas. According to Kallas, if Russia were to seize the entire region as part of a peace agreement, it would only continue to advance, even beyond Ukraine, RBC-Ukraine reports.
"Donbas is not the ultimate goal of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
