Russia Invites to Cuba's Portfolios with Its Mir Payment System

Cuban banks are preparing to issue locally the Mir card, which is the Russian equivalent of Visa or Mastercard. This decision, a first in Latin America, is part of a strategy to strengthen Russian-Cuban cooperation, marked by increasing exchanges in rubles, joint projects and growing Russian tourism.
