The Kremlin has enough resources to wage war for another two years, Oleh Ivashchenko, the head of Ukraine's military intelligence (HUR), told the Ukrinform website on Monday.
Russia's spending on the war in Ukraine reached a new record in the first half of 2026. Moscow allocated 10,687 trillion rubles for war financing, according to an analysis based on data from the Russian Ministry of Finance.
On average, the Kremlin's military machine eats 1.78 trillion rubles a month — more than $20 billion.
ACCORDING to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia has the resources to continue the war until 2028, despite economic problems and Ukrainian strikes on oil infrastructure and logistics.
