A Russell County man was taken to Hays Medical Center with what were believed to be minor injuries on Tuesday after the 2017 Toyota Highlander he was driving went off an Ellis County road and crashed into a pole. Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 7:37 a.m. on U.S. 183, one mile north of Interstate 70.
