The deputy mayor of Shymkent was shot by the head of a municipal construction company

The assassination attempt on Ruslan Berdenov, Deputy Mayor (Mayor) of Shymkent, was committed by Yernar Zhiyenbay, the head of the municipal construction company Turgyn Uy Shymkent LLP, born in 1994. He fired five bullets at the official, who survived but is in serious condition.

The shooter was waiting for an official outside the city administration building: Berdenov received gunshot wounds to his right thigh and shoulder.
