Rural Metro Fire to charge non-subscribers $600 for emergency medical calls
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — For the first time in nearly 50 years, Rural Metro Fire - Knox County will be charging non-subscribers for emergency medicals call they respond to. Non-subscribers will be charged a flat fee of $600 for any emergency medical call. The fees only apply to those who live in Knox County outside of the Knoxville city limits.
