In Rucphen, Brabant, three parties, including the PVV, reached a coalition agreement on Wednesday following the municipal elections in March. With this, Rucphen appears set to become the first municipality where the PVV will participate in governing.
It came as no great surprise: the RVP, PVV, and CDA signed the coalition agreement this evening at the town hall in Rucphen. The RVP will provide two aldermen, while the other parties each will provide one. It looks set to be the PVV's debut in government at the national level.
Wesley Tack from Rucphen may become one of the first PVV aldermen in the Netherlands. On Wednesday evening, the upcoming local coalition in Rucphen presented its prospective aldermen.
