Over the past week, as part of the police's fight against the scourge of drugs and the unsupervised distribution of dangerous drugs, detectives from the Lev Tel Aviv police station, together with investigators from the Yarkon Region Crime Suppression Unit, carried out proactive activity. Last Tuesday, a 48-year-old suspect from Ramat Hasharon was arrested while driving on Highway 5. During a search of her vehicle, thousands of different types of drugs, including Ritalin, were seized, packaged and prepared on suspicion of distribution and trafficking. The suspect was arrested, jailed, and her luxury car was seized for the purpose of a confiscation procedure. Following the activity, searches were conducted over the past week at several addresses related to the suspect in Ramat Hasharon.
