Hundreds of people have been watching the catch of the largest Czech pond, Rožmberk in the Třeboň region, since Friday morning. Fishermen pulled in their nets around seven in the morning. Carp, pike, zander, perch and catfish swim in the vats. But the largest catfish, Standa, over two meters long and weighing 70 kilograms, which fishermen moved here more than 15 years ago from the Bošilecký pond, did not show up this year.

Třeboň fishermen have started the festive autumn fishing season in Rožmberk, the largest pond in the Czech Republic. They expect that the price of fish at Christmas will not change compared to last year.
