Companies in the port of Rotterdam are concerned about the security of electricity supply. They fear that the situation is even more serious than grid operator TenneT outlined in a report on Thursday. "Based on the TenneT monitor and what we hear from members, we expect that the situation will become very vulnerable much sooner than 2030 if we do not take action now," says Deltalinqs, the business organization for companies in the port.
