Roger Stone allegedly discussed political retribution against Cuomo brothers, others in text messages
Jacob Engels said the messages show repeated threats and intimidation, including references to Andrew Cuomo, Chris Cuomo and Andrew Weissmann.
Former associate Jacob Engels provided text messages to NewsNation revealing that Roger Stone allegedly discussed political retaliation and violence targeting Governor Andrew Cuomo and Chris Cuomo in 2020.
Engels, who worked for Stone since 2013, shared these 2020 exchanges while Stone faced legal battles tied to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, claiming Stone fostered an environment of intimidation.
Stone allegedly called Andrew Cuomo a "murderer" and told Sal Greco it was on "my to-do list for 2021" to have Chris Cuomo "terminated," while Greco suggested punching the anchor.
Other messages detail Stone's focus on former prosecutor Andrew Weissmann and the "Friends of Stone" Signal chat, which Engels said coordinated activities with the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers.
These allegations emerge as Stone has reestablished significant political influence during the second Trump administration, reporting $2.7 million in lobbying earnings so far, according to congressional records.
