Rockford robbery suspect escapes custody, rearrested

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Winnebago County Deputies arrested Christian Medrano, 29, on charges of failing to return from furlough. Medrano has multiple felony convictions and pending felony cases. In one case, Medrano is accused of robbing a store and attacking a clerk.
