LAKE CITY, Minn. — Motorists on Highway 63 will encounter a detour beginning Wednesday, June 3, about 4 miles southwest of Lake City for rock removal on an adjacent slope, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Wabasha County is removing some of the rock slope northwest of Highway 63 to improve the sight distance from Wabasha County Road 15 to southbound Highway 63.
