'ED Is Being Managed by Govt': Robert Vadra Gets Bail in Gurugram Land Deal Scam Case
The court said Vadra only had to furnish a Rs 50,000 bond and one surety, with no extra conditions imposed.
On Saturday, the Rouse Avenue Court granted businessman Robert Vadra bail in the Shikohpur land deal money-laundering case, requiring him to furnish a bail bond of Rs 50,000 along with one surety of the same amount.
The Enforcement Directorate alleges Vadra and his company, Skylight Hospitality Private Limited, laundered proceeds of crime through a land transaction involving 3.53 acres in Shikohpur village, Gurugram, with the trial court taking cognisance of charges in April 2026.
Speaking outside the court, Vadra declared he was "fearless" and had "nothing to hide," expressing faith in the judiciary while alleging the Enforcement Directorate functions under government instructions.
Separately, the Delhi High Court has listed Vadra's petition for hearing on May 18, where the Enforcement Directorate argues his plea relies on a "complete false statement on law" regarding scheduled offences.
The Rouse Avenue Court has posted the Shikohpur matter for further hearing on July 10, marking the next phase in a case stemming from a 2008 land transaction that first saw charges filed in July 2025.
