The ADAC has tested warning vests for children and is committed to a sales ban on 13 products.
The ÖAMTC examined 25 warning vests for children and found serious defects. 13 products were below the value specified in the standard EN 17353 in terms of their reflective properties. The ÖAMTC has tested 25 warning vests and has come to an "alarming result". 20 warning vests have been purchased online and five have been purchased in retail.
According to the investigation, 13 out of 25 products failed. Last year, according to the ÖAMTC, about 200 children were injured in darkness in road traffic.
