Sudbury driver clocked at 144 km/h in a 60 km/h zone

Police have charged a driver in the Val Caron area of Greater Sudbury with stunt driving and other offences following an incident Tuesday evening.

RNC hand out 25 tickets in 90 minutes

On Tuesday the RNC conducted a traffic blitz on the Team Gushue Highway. Police handed out 25 tickets in just a 90-minute span. The fastest was observed driving 138 km/h in the 80 km/h zone. That 43-year-old female driver also had her licence suspended and her vehicle seized.
