Rivers Assembly Probes Government Funding of PAMO University

- Governor Siminalayi Fubara signed the N1.84 trillion 2026 Appropriation Bill into law after the Assembly redirected part of the university's contested funds to the Primary Health Care Management Board for facility rehabilitation.
- By September 30, 2026, the committee must submit its findings to the House to determine whether taxpayers' money supported the objective of training medical personnel for state health facilities.
