Multiple radar-confirmed tornadoes hit Oklahoma and River Valley Friday Morning

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Friday morning, multiple thunderstorms and tornadoes tore through areas near Chewey and Peggs, Oklahoma and Van Buren. Our weather team says tornado damage could be seen on radar just south of Shibley in Van Buren. Damage to buildings has been confirmed. Another round of storms is possible tomorrow morning. River Valley residents share damage reports after radar-indicated tornado

According to Crawford County Emergency Management, at least 50 structures were damaged in Van Buren, and a major gas leak was reported after a reported tornado.
