LOS ANGELES — Police in Los Angeles began arresting people in the city's downtown on Tuesday night, as groups gathered in violation of an overnight curfew after a fifth day of protests against United States President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown.
Today, Thursday, the U.S. LAPD announced that about 400 people had been arrested since Saturday, against the backdrop of ongoing protests in the state against immigration policies.
