In early April, the head of the Registers Center informed the Ministry of Economy and Innovation about the theft of personal data of 600 thousand citizens. But for more than a month, the authorities, pretending to be some inadequate Soviet child, hid this fact from the public, and when the needle was out of the bag, they ordered all of Lithuania to go and check at the same Registers Center using even more personal data.
