The Nice administrative court condemned the state to compensate the bookstore Les Parlementuses which had been covered with sheets to hide feminist messages targeting Gérald Darmanin
By December 2022, CRS had masked the front of the bookshop Les Parlementuses, which displayed feminist messages and a book on sexual violence on the day of a visit to the then-minister city of Gérald Darmanin.
In a judgment of 14 January, the Nice Administrative Court overturned the decision by the State services in December 2022 to conceal the window of the bookshop Les Parlementuses during a visit by Gérald Darmanin, former Minister of the Interior. Judged the measure illegal, and characterising the action of "infringement of freedom of expression", the court held "responsibility for the fault of the State".
