One of the most important objects that must be visited in Sejny is the Basilica of the Visitation of the Holy Virgin Mary. This is a Baroque-style sanctuary where Bishop Antanas Baranauskas worked for many years - not only a clergyman, but also the author of "Anykščiai šilelis".
