Rick Riordan unveils new 'Camp Half-Blood' novels, starting this fall
The first installment, co-written with Annabelle Oh, follows new demigod heroes as campers face monsters, curses and disappearing students.
- On Tuesday, Random House Children's Books announced that author Rick Riordan is launching a four-book Camp Half-Blood series, with the first installment, The Wild Zone, arriving Sept. 29.
- Riordan said working on his Emmy-winning Disney+ adaptation stirred his curiosity about Camp Half-Blood when Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, and Grover Underwood were absent from the original series.
- Collaborating with different co-authors on each novel, Riordan is working with Annebelle Oh on the first book, followed by Kyle Lukoff, Jade Adia, and Pablo Cartaya on the subsequent three titles.
