Richard L. Jewell, 63, of McKenzie, Tennessee, formerly of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. He was born on July 11, 1961, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of the late Ronald and Della (Cook) Jewell. Richard was a 1979 graduate of Athens High School and later earned a degree in ceramic engineering from Hocking College. He was a former member of the Athens County Elks Lodge 973.
