Rhône. The oil tank of their neighbour flees to their house: "A real nightmare"

The Varnet family was victims in January 2025 of a leak of oil from an air tank installed at their neighbour's. Their house, located on the road from Givors to Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise, but also their land was contaminated by hydrocarbons. Two months later, the site was still not cleared. Concerned about its health and environmental pollution, the family alerted its insurance, the gendarmerie and the town hall.
