The stepson of a 79-year-old retired businessman alerted police early this morning of his stepfather's murder after seeing the gate to the residence open, which struck him as odd. Upon entering the home, he found him lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen of his home on Antonio Serrano Street, in the Morena neighborhood of Sabana Hoyos, in Arecibo.
