Although remittances to Mexico will fall 5.8% to 61,000 million dollars, the Economist in Chief of BBVA, Carlos Serrano, said that it will not be something “catastrophic” in macroeconomic terms for the country. According to their forecasts, the 4.8 million recipient families in the country will receive around $61,000 million in remittances all year round. A flow that will be 5.8% lower annually than the historical one received in 2024, which was 64,750 million dollars.
