Council Approves Ban on Homeless Encampments – Palo Alto Daily Post

REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, JUL 22 – The ordinance links misdemeanor charges to refusal of shelter, aiming to reduce encampments and connect 141 unsheltered people to services, officials said.

Redwood City Council on Monday passed a ban on homeless encampments, but some say it’s too punitive.
