DULUTH, Minn.– The beloved red panda ‘Zoozee’ at the Lake Superior Zoo, just got a new roommate. ‘Wiley’ a male red panda was born on June 19th, 2024, at the Potter Park Zoo, in Michigan. Lake Superior Zoo welcomes new red panda

DULUTH — The Lake Superior Zoo has welcomed a new red panda. Wiley, a male, was born in June 2024 at Michigan's Potter Park Zoo. Wiley arrived in Duluth in May and was first seen by visitors July 2, but "the zoo waited to publicly announce Wiley’s arrival to ensure he was comfortable and visible to guests," according to a Friday news release.
